Steve Rouch is an international award winning photographer. Creative. Stylish. Award-winning. These are the words typically used to describe Steve Rouch. Having taken more than 6,000 portraits throughout his career, he’s developed a classical fine-art portraiture technique to craft stunning portraits you’re sure to love.

We take pride in offering our clients the type of photography they are looking for. It’s one thing to take pictures, it’s another to create fine art for our clients. We do families, children, pets, graduating seniors, executives, boudoir, individuals, couples, engagement, maternity…..anything your heart desires! In addition to our large indoor studio, we live on a nature preserve! So many options for your indoor/outdoor session.

Our clients are typically looking for artwork for their home vs. snapshots, and that is what draws them into our photography studio. Steve Rouch Photography offers fine portraiture for the entire Twin Cities Metro area.

Steve’s credentials:

Master Photographer – a degree that takes most people about 20 years to get. Steve is one of the only Master Photographers in the Metro area. This degree is very hard to get and is your assurance of top quality. Less than 1% of photographers earn this degree!

Board Certified Professional Photographer – this is the equivalent of passing the Bar exam for an attorney. Very few photographers pass this tough test and ethical background check … another “Consumer Reports A+.”

Kodak Gallery Award Winner – Steve has won this twice … of all the images in a competition, the judges award the exceptional image of the competition with this prestigious award.

Internationally published photographer – Steve has been published on multiple occasions in the largest professional photography publication in the world. He is considered a teacher and mentor by many of his photographic peers.

What does “Board Certified Photographer” really mean? This is excerpts from a letter from the Professional Photographers of America…..

Dear Steve,

Only 3% of all photographers are board certified….like a law or doctors degree! Many members worked hard to earn their certification, but don’t highlight it in their marketing. Once you’ve taken the time and made the effort to get certified you should take advantage of the opportunities that certification can provide in your marketing. Studies show that Certification is the most widely recognized consumer credential. People are familiar with certification and understand that it places you in an elite position in your profession.

This credential means you passed a rigorous examination and portfolio review helps to set you apart from your competition. You are one of less than 3% of professional photographers who have attained certification. I know you’re proud of your accomplishment I just hope that you are telling your prospective customers about it. They might be more impressed than you would guess.

Best regards, David Mithofer
